Our Process

Our 3-Step Approach

1

Inspect & Review.

We’ll inspect the property, document all damages, and review your policy so nothing gets missed.

2

Estimate & Negotiate.

We prepare detailed estimates, submit your claim, and handle all communication with the insurance company.

3

Settlement & Recovery.

We negotiate for the maximum settlement available, so you can focus on repairing and moving forward — not fighting with adjusters.

Claims Process

We treat every claim like it’s our own. Detailed, documented & never rushed.

We don’t just guess at damages, we prove them, making it harder for insurance companies to overlook what really needs to be repaired. Every claim tells a story, and our job is to make sure yours is told fully and backed with the evidence to get you fairly compensated.

FAQs

Will my carrier drop me?

Your insurance company can drop you. But in most cases, they won’t, especially if you’re filing a legitimate claim. Insurance exists to help you recover from unexpected damage. That said, insurance carriers are in the business of managing risk. If you file multiple claims in a short period of time you may be flagged as high-risk, and your policy could be non-renewed. But for most homeowners who file a legitimate claim once in a while, it’s highly unlikely your insurer will drop you. You have a right to use your policy. Filing a valid claim for real damage is what insurance is for.

Is my premium going to go up?

Insurance premiums go up all the time, even if you’ve never filed a claim. Carriers raise rates based on your location, the number of claims in your area. In fact, many policyholders see increases simply because they live in a high-risk region, like Florida. Insurance companies often raise premiums across the board until it becomes too expensive and the homeowner decides to switch carriers. Your premium is likely to go up no matter what — so don’t let the fear of an increase stop you from using your policy when you truly need it.

Are there any finances out of my pocket after settlement? Does your fee cover everything?

In most cases, no. There are no additional costs beyond the percentage fee we agree upon. That fee covers everything related to handling your claim. The only time there will be an extra cost is if your claim goes into the appraisal process, which only happens when we and the insurance company can’t agree on the value of the loss. Each side hires an independent appraiser (you would pay for yours). If the appraisers can’t agree, a neutral umpire is brought in which their fee is split 50/50 between you and the insurance company. If we think appraisal isn’t worth the cost, we’ll let you know upfront so you can make the best decision. There are no surprise fees and we’ll always explain your options before anything moves forward.

Do I need a Public Adjuster?

Hiring a Public Adjuster can make a big difference. The insurance company sends out their own adjuster. Someone who works for them, not for you. Their job is to protect the company’s interests and keep payouts low. A Public Adjuster works for you, the policyholder, to make sure your damage is fully documented, your rights are protected, and you get the maximum settlement you’re entitled to. You might especially want a Public Adjuster if you feel overwhelmed or unsure about the claims process, you’re not sure what your policy covers, or you want someone experienced to handle everything for you. You’re not required to hire a Public Adjuster, but doing so levels the playing field and gives you an expert on your side.

How are you paid?

As a Public Adjuster, we are paid a percentage of your settlement, but only if we recover for you. There are no upfront costs and no hourly fees. Our payment comes directly from a portion of what we help you recover, and only after the insurance company issues payment. Our fees are regulated by Florida law, and we’ll go over the percentage with you in writing before any work begins. No recovery, no fee. You don’t pay us unless we get results.
